Link Adder keeps the pages you want to come back to. You save them from a button in your browser, and they wait for you in a list.
A list is a shelf. You might keep one called Reading, another called Work, another for a project that ends in a month. Each list gets a color, and that color follows it everywhere: on this site, in the browser button, and on your start page.
Make one with New list on your lists page.
Install the extension, then click its icon on any page worth keeping. It shows a button per list. Click a list, and the page lands there with its title and icon already filled in.
You can also right-click anywhere on a page, or right-click a link without opening it, and choose Add to Link Adder.
The extension replaces the new tab page with your lists, laid out as tiles. Every list is a group, every link a tile, and one search runs across all of them at once. Press / to jump into that search.
It draws from a copy kept on your machine, so it opens instantly and still works when you are offline.
Link Adder recognises you by the Google account your browser is signed into. That is why the extension never asks you to log in, and why your lists appear on any machine where that browser profile is signed in.
If the extension says it does not know you, check which account the browser itself is signed into. That is the one that counts, not the one you used on this site.
Open a list, click the pencil, and choose Share. Type the email address of the person you want on it and send the invitation.
They get a mail with an Accept the list button. Nothing appears in their account until they press it, and if they have no Link Adder account yet, accepting makes one. Once they have accepted, the list sits alongside their own and the two of you both work on it: either of you can add links, retitle them, tick them off and delete them.
It stays your list. You are the only one who can rename it, change its color, change its kind or delete it, and the Share panel shows everyone who is on it with a Remove beside each one. They can hand it back themselves with Leave, next to the name in the heading. Neither of those deletes anything: the links stay in the list.
